After listening to hundreds of entrepreneurs voice their needs, along with the stakeholders that serve them, the fact remains that accessing capital remains entrepreneurs’ biggest and most critical barrier to growth. We’ve turned that challenge into a new opportunity.
ICA’s Path 2 Cash event provides 1-on-1 advising with a financial expert to review the financials and supporting documents that you are preparing to access capital, identify where on the path you are and provide actionable feedback to help you accelerate your success to obtain cash.
This event isn’t about ICA, because we can’t solve this problem alone. This is about harnessing the power of a network to accelerate a collaborative solution, convening people with expertise and experience to deliver powerful results for entrepreneurs. We know this works because we’ve researched and tested our methodology. This was exemplified in the success of the 1-on-1 advising sessions that we offered through our summer entrepreneur cohort. This experience gave us the confidence to bring this opportunity to a larger audience and create a larger impact.
For entrepreneurs, the path to accessing growth capital can vary. In too many instances it can mean spending hundreds of hours away from running your business talking to a handful or a hundred people and getting useless advice. As ICA’s COO Sean Murphy explains, “At ICA, we’ve learned that the power resides in our network. We can facilitate the right connections, deliver practical advice, provide the guidance entrepreneurs need to make the best use of their time and accelerate them down the path to smart capital. Our goal is to leverage the capital ecosystem for entrepreneurs to scale their businesses and create good jobs for inner city residents.”
Please apply to be considered by using the short form at this link: http://innercityadvisors.org/path2cash. One of our team members will contact you soon after reviewing your application. For important details about this event, see below:
